The island castle of Trakai is located about 28 kilometers west of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The address is Trakai Island Castle, Kęstučio g. 4, Trakai 21104, Lithuania.
Directions Trakai Castle from Vilnius:
By Car: From Vilnius, take the A16 west and follow signs to Trakai.
By bus From Vilnius bus station there are regular buses to Trakai. The journey takes around 40 minutes, or book a bus tour to Trakai.
Opening times Trakai Water Castle:
Daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday is closed (closed day). In summer until 7 p.m.
Entrance to Tarkai Castle:
Admission prices vary and there are discounts for students, seniors and children. Adults pay around 10 euros entry, reduced around 5 euros in 2023
